Abstract: Disclosed are a translationally controlled tumor protein derived-protein transduction domain (TCTP-PTD) having the ability to penetrate the cell membrane, and to the use thereof. The TCTP-PTD peptide is capable of improving the ability of a target substance to penetrate the cell membrane to thereby effectively deliver the target substance into a living body, including cells, tissue and blood. Thus, the TCTP-PTD peptide may be used for research purposes in vitro, and may be used for clinical purposes, including treatment of various diseases, delivery of contrast agents, etc., and may also be used for diagnostic purposes and in cosmetic applications.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a continuous process for preparing microspheres and microspheres prepared thereby, and in particular, a process for preparing microspheres comprising steps of injecting a first emulsion and a second emulsion at the same time to form microspheres instantaneously, applying high pressure to the microspheres formed, and injecting the microspheres into an agitator, wherein the steps can be carried out continuously, and microspheres prepared thereby. When microspheres are prepared using the method of the present invention, scale variables, which have been the biggest disadvantage in existing preparation methods of microspheres, can be significantly reduced, drug encapsulation efficiency can be improved, and small and uniform particles can be obtained.

Abstract: An oseltamivir analogue and nanoparticles having the analogue bound thereto, of the present invention, strongly bind to oseltamivir-resistant influenza virus, and thus, the use of the same can allow detection of oseltamivir-resistant influenza viruses quickly and conveniently with the naked eye. Therefore, the present invention can be favorably utilized in promptly establishing a therapeutic schedule for a patient infected with influenza viruses.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a probe for detecting bacteria using a peptidoglycan-binding protein, and a method for preparing the same. Also, the present invention relates to a method for detecting bacteria using the probe. The probe for detecting bacteria according to the present invention can specifically detect bacteria. That is, the probe according to the present invention can clearly distinguish between yeast and bacteria and can detect both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, and thus is expected to be usable in various fields as a universal probe for detecting bacteria. Further, use of the probe allows bacteria to be detected by identifying only fluorescence development without an additional enzymatic treatment, thereby enabling a simple and quick bacterial detection. In particular, the probe is expected to be effectively usable in the food industry where quick bacterial detection is required.
