Abstract: A voice recognition apparatus is provided. The voice recognition apparatus includes a communicator configured to communicate with an external voice recognition server; a memory configured to store a plurality of keywords and domain information corresponding to each of the plurality of keywords; a microphone configured to generate a voice signal corresponding to an uttered voice; and a controller configured to recognize a keyword included in the voice signal, determine a domain corresponding to the recognized keyword by using the domain information, and control the communicator to transmit information regarding the determined domain and the voice signal to the external voice recognition server.

Abstract: A display apparatus which is capable of recognizing a voice and a method thereof are provided. The method includes receiving an uttered voice of a user, extracting a plurality of similar words which are similar to the uttered voice by extracting voice information from the uttered voice and measuring reliability of a plurality of words based on the extracted voice information, setting a word satisfying a predetermined condition from among the plurality of extracted similar words as a target word with respect to the uttered voice, and displaying at least one of the target word and a similar word list including similar words other than the target word. In this manner, a display apparatus may improve a recognition rate on an uttered voice of a user without changing an internal component related to voice recognition, such as, an acoustic model, a pronunciation dictionary, or the like.

Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes: a voice input receiver configured to receive a voice input of user; a signal processor configured to recognize and process the received voice input received through the voice input receiver; a buffer configured to store the voice input; and a controller configured to determine whether a voice recognition function of the signal processor is activated and control the signal processor to recognize the voice input stored in the buffer in response to the voice recognition function being determined to be activated wherein the controller is further configured to store the received voice input in the buffer in response to the received voice input being input through the voice input receiver while the voice recognition function is not activated, so that the received voice input is recognized by the signal processor when the voice recognition function is activated.

Therefore, the display apparatus may register a user command which is resistant to misrecognition and guarantees high recognition rate among user commands defined by a user.

A voice recognition method of an electronic device includes receiving trigger voice, storing a characteristic of the trigger voice for voice verification by analyzing the trigger voice. When a user issues a voice command, determining whether the user voice command comprises the characteristic belonging to the trigger voice, and performing function of the electronic device corresponding to the user voice command based on the determination. Accordingly, users may easily use the voice recognition function of the electronic device.

Abstract: An interactive system, a display apparatus, and a controlling method are provided.
