More specifically, it relates to a method of preparing a propylene-1-butene copolymer by using a catalyst that includes a novel metallocene compound having excellent copolymerization activity, and a propylene-1-butene copolymer obtained by the method. According to the present invention, since the copolymer is prepared by copolymerizing propylene and 1-butene by using a novel metallocene compound having an excellent copolymerization activity and hydrogen reactivity, the properties of the copolymer can be easily controlled and the propylene-1-butene copolymer having excellent mechanical properties can be obtained.
