    Abstract: An apparatus and a method for manufacturing instantly emulsified cosmetics is disclosed. The apparatus comprises: a housing; a pump in the housing for discharging an instantly emulsified emulsion outside of the housing; a first container in the housing for storing an internal fluid; a second container in the housing for storing a functional fluid including a functional raw material; a third container in the housing for storing an external fluid; a channel part in the housing for receiving the external fluid, the internal fluid and the functional fluid generate an emulsion; and a tube provides the pump with the emulsion generated in the channel part, wherein the channel part includes: a first channel for mixing the internal fluid and the functional fluid to generate a mixed fluid; and a second channel for mixing the mixed fluid provided from the first channel and the external fluid to generate an emulsion.

    Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention includes a technique to calibrate receiver and transmitter in a communication system. N digitized samples I(n) and Q(n) are stored. The N digitized samples represent in-phase and quadrature (I-Q) components, respectively, of a down-converted signal from a receiver. The I-Q components are generated from a quadrature demodulator or modulator having I-Q imbalance. Phase and gain adjustment constants are computed from the N digitized samples to compensate for the I-Q imbalance using a closed form solution. Another embodiment of the present invention includes a technique to calibrate a transceiver in a communication system without using a calibrated reference receiver. A first test signal at a first frequency is injected to a transmitter having a quadrature modulator with I-Q imbalance. The quadrature modulator has a carrier frequency. The transmitter generates a transmitter signal.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for determining an accurate fractional carrier frequency offset (CFO) adjustment in an orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) or orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) system in an effort to properly compensate for the actual CFO between a transmitter and a receiver are provided. This enhanced fractional CFO adjustment may be based on a history of estimated fractional CFOs and estimated carrier-to-interference-plus-noise ratios (CINRs) and may be statistically derived from this history, therefore leading to a more accurate fractional CFO adjustment when compared to conventional fractional CFO estimations. A more accurate fractional CFO adjustment may lead to increased physical layer performance and decreased decoding errors (i.e., lower bit error ratio, or BER).

Each of the upper and lower surfaces of the radiation plate includes a dipole element for radiating waves, and a feeder for feeding radio frequency signals. Accordingly, the basic advantages of micro strip antennas are included, i.e., small volume, small weight, and natural integration with printed circuits. Also, the radiation losses of the twin feed lines in the planar dipole antenna are extremely low.
