    Abstract: The present invention provides a silicon-compatible compound junctionless field effect transistor enabled to be compatible to a bulk silicon substrate for substituting an expensive SOI substrate, to form a blocking semiconductor layer between a silicon substrate and an active layer by a semiconductor material having a specific difference of energy bandgap from that of the active layer to substitute a prior buried oxide for blocking a leakage current at an off-operation time and to form the active layer by a semiconductor layer having electron or hole mobility higher than that of silicon, and to operate perfectly as a junctionless device though the dopant concentration of the active layer is much lower than the prior junctionless device.

    Abstract: A method of detecting a real size of an object from a medical image is provided. The method includes: receiving depth information of the object which is a distance between the object and a skin of a patient; measuring a distance between the pinhole and the skin; detecting a magnified size of the object from the medical image; and calculating the real size of the object based on the depth information of the object, the distance between the pinhole and the skin, and the magnified size of the object, and the distance between the pinhole and the scintillator.

    Abstract: Provided are a device for varying wetting properties and a device for separating particles using the same. The magnitude and switching period of a voltage applied to a droplet are changed to separate particles contained in the droplet based on mass or size. The device for varying wetting properties includes an electrode layer that is electrically conductive with one of different electrical polarities, an insulating layer disposed at one side of the electrode layer, and a droplet that is in contact with the other polarity and contains different particles desired to be separated. Wetting properties of the droplet are varied according to application of a voltage.
