Abstract: An optical disc player includes an optical pickup unit; a signal processor for extracting streams from a signal read by the optical pickup unit, a demultiplexer for dividing streams received from the signal processor into sub-streams for every data, an audio decoder for decoding audio data received from the demultiplexer, a video decoder for decoding video data received from the demultiplexer, an OSD (On-Screen-Display) processor for processing OSD data received from the demultiplexer, a data output unit for outputting resultant data processed at the audio decoder, the video decoder, and the OSD processor, and a controller for controlling overall operations of the aforesaid components.
