Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for directly differentiating Visceral sensory neurons from human-derived induced pluripotent stem cells or a composition for inducing differentiation of Visceral sensory neurons from induced pluripotent stem cells. The present invention relates to a novel protocol that can differentiate induced-Visceral sensory neurons from induced pluripotent stem cells, whereby human-derived Visceral sensory neurons can be reproduced in an in vitro environment. The induced-Visceral sensory neurons differentiated by the method of the present invention can be used in various fields such as drug screening utilizing the gut-neuron-brain axis, and disease models, and can be used to elucidate the pathogenesis of various sporadic neurodegenerative diseases with unclear etiology.
