  • Publication number: 20220387638
Abstract: A hybrid germicidal irradiation apparatus, method, and system for multi-band germicidal irradiation. A first emitter, a second emitter and a third emitter may be coupled to a housing configured to be coupled to a ceiling of an interior room. The first emitter, the second emitter and the third emitter may respectively be operable to emit UV-C radiation at a wavelength of about 265 nanometers, near-UV radiation at a wavelength of about 405 nanometers and visible light at a wavelength greater than 405 nanometers. One or more radiation sensors may be configured to measure the amount of UV-C light, near UV-C light and/or visible light reflected from a target surface. A controller may be communicably engaged with the radiation sensors to calculate an amount of UV-C radiation, near-UV radiation and/or visible light delivered to a target surface or interior space.

  • Patent number: 11154632
Abstract: An apparatus and method for reducing dosage time in ultraviolet germicidal irradiation systems. A UV-C reflective adhesive film may be configured as sheets, or in a roll that may be cut to a desired size or shape. A user may apply the UV-C reflective adhesive film to a desired surface of an interior room by exposing an adhesive surface to the desired interior surface. A reflective layer of the UV-C reflective adhesive film is configured to improve the reflectance percentage or reflectance pattern of a desired interior surface with respect to incident UV-C or near UV-C light. The improved reflectance properties of the desired surface functions to reflect a greater amount of light back to one or more closed-loop sensors in operation with a UV-C or near UV-C germicidal irradiation system.

  • Patent number: 10807661
Abstract: A mobile distribution platform apparatus and method utilizing an over the road tractor platform constructed to be freely movable upon the road system. A plurality of ramps are each pivotally joined to the platform and each pivotable between a raised travel configuration and lowered to an extending loading configuration. Each ramp further includes a plurality of adjustable removable support jacks which may be installed on the underside of a ramp and extend downwardly therefrom to provide support for the ramp in its loading configuration. The mobile distribution platform provides a transportation and distribution hub which may be located as required without the need of stationary support facilities. In addition to providing a road transport hub, the present invention mobile distribution platform also provides the capability to locate adjacent a section of railroad track without the need of supporting stationary facilities.

  • Patent number: 10708290
Abstract: An information handling system performs a method for analyzing attacks against a networked system of information handling systems. The method includes detecting a threat indicator, representing the threat indicator in part by numerical parameters, normalizing the numerical parameters, calculating one or more measures of association between the threat indicator and other threat indicators, finding an association of the threat indicator with another threat indicator based upon the normalized numerical parameters, and assigning to the threat indicator a probability that a threat actor group caused the attack, wherein the threat actor group was assigned to the other threat indicator.

  • Patent number: 10587640
Abstract: An information handling system performs a method for analyzing attacks against a networked system of information handling systems. The method includes detecting a threat indicator, representing the threat indicator in part by numerical parameters, normalizing the numerical parameters, calculating one or more measures of association between the threat indicator and other threat indicators, finding an association of the threat indicator with another threat indicator based upon the normalized numerical parameters, and assigning to the threat indicator a probability that a threat actor group caused the attack, wherein the threat actor group was assigned to the other threat indicator. In some embodiments, the normalizing may include transforming a distribution of the numerical parameters to a distribution with a standard deviation of 1 and a mean of 0. In some embodiments, the normalizing may include applying an empirical cumulative distribution function.

  • Patent number: 9650897
Abstract: A fan blade comprises an airfoil portion and a sheath portion. The sheath portion has a sheath head section, a first sheath flank, and a second sheath flank, both flanks extending chordwise from the forward sheath section. The sheath portion is bonded to the airfoil portion such that the sheath head section covers the forward airfoil edge, defining a blade leading edge. The first sheath flank covers a portion of the first airfoil surface proximate the airfoil forward edge, jointly defining a blade suction surface. The second sheath flank covers a portion of the second airfoil surface proximate the airfoil forward edge, jointly defining a blade pressure surface. The first metallic material is an aluminum alloy containing between about 0.5 wt % and about 3.0 wt % of lithium.

  • Patent number: 9555143
Abstract: Devices and methods for defining a data set, referred to herein as a signature, for a particular device having interior channels. A baseline signature is established for the particular device while the particular device is known to be in a decontaminated condition. After use of the device and subsequent decontamination of the device, a signature for the particular device is determined and compared with the baseline signature to verify that the latter signature is within an acceptable range.

  • Publication number: 20160219859
Abstract: Pest control in an enclosed area, such as a room of a building, by positioning an ozone producing device in an area to be treated. Ozone generating ultraviolet lamps emit ozone around the entire perimeter of the device, generating ozone from the atmosphere within the enclosed area. A concentration of ozone in the area is measured by a sensor. Production of ozone by the ozone generating ultraviolet lamps is terminated upon the ozone concentration reaching a predetermined concentration of ozone or by time of exposure. Pests that are subject to treatment include invertebrates, such as insects and arachnids, or small mammals, such as mice and rats.
