Abstract: An improvement to the 3-point hitch standardly found on tractors of the type having an implement lift mechanism, including the addition of a joining apparatus which allows the tractor to turn without requiring a plow or other earth working implement being towed by the tractor to be removed from the ground in order to complete the turn. The joining apparatus connects to the load bars of the standard 3-point hitch and includes a pivotable connection located in the middle of a crossbar that connects the ends of the load bars. Tie bars are mounted at the pivotable connection and to the 3-point hitch connection points on the implement. In this way the implement may be allowed to turn and be maintained at an orientation different than the orientation of the tractor.
