  • Patent number: 11950659
Abstract: Sports shoe with a striped pattern facilitating ball handling, having an upper and a sole, wherein the surface of the upper of the sports shoe is divided into a plurality of shooting zones, namely at least into a nose zone (14), an inner shooting zone (15) and an outer shooting zone (16) and at least one of the shooting zones (14, 15, 16) comprises a plurality of ball directing stripes (20) arranged side-by-side beside and being spaced from each other and the directing stripes extend out from the surface of the upper that constitutes a basic surface (17), the directing stripes (20) have elevated outer surfaces (18) with increased grip to the ball compared to the grip of the basic surface (17), wherein the spaces between said directing stripes (20) constitute respective ball directing channels (21) and the at least one shooting zone comprises a group of at least four directing stripes (20) and a group of at least three directing channels (21) between the directing stripes, and out of these two groups the width

  • Patent number: 11617409
Abstract: A surface structure for sports boots used for ball games having increased ball-contact properties where each boot has an upper part and a sole and the upper part has an outer surface used for shooting a ball, wherein at least a part of said ball shooting outer surface comprises a coating that has an adhesive substance covering said outer surface and a grained structure embedded in and kept by the adhesive. The grained structure comprises discrete granules of a resilient material, wherein between the adhesive and the outer surface of the upper part and between the adhesive and the granules a stable and durable bonding is provided, and the granules have outer surfaces that provide an improved contact with the ball when getting in contact with it.

  • Publication number: 20080041722
Abstract: Electroosmosis is an effective way to move fluids in microfluidic devices. The process is driven by the interaction of a double-layer formed at the surface of the fluid in a microspace of the device and the electric field parallel with the surface. Surface conductivity of light sensitive surfaces can be modified by light and thereby the flow pattern of the fluid can be manipulated. The invention relates to a microfluidic device and method to move fluids by electroosmosis and to manipulate flow of the fluid, wherein at least a part the surface adjacent to the fluid driven by electroosmosis is made of a light sensitive material, the surface conductivity of which is modified by changing illumination thereof, thereby flow of the fluid can be influenced. The invention can be used for example in microfluidic channels to manipulate flow velocity, for the preparation of microfluidic switches and mixers or “lab-on-a-chip” devices.
