    Abstract: In accordance with an example embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a stereoscopic camera system, a user interface, and a disparity range system. The user interface includes a display screen. The user interface is configured to display on the display screen an image formed by the stereoscopic camera system. The image corresponds to a scene viewable by the stereoscopic camera system. The disparity range system is configured to detect a disparity for the scene. The disparity range system is configured to provide an indication on the display screen in response to the detected disparity.
