Abstract: A lighting system is disclosed herein. The lighting system can include light module for surface, recessed or pendant mounting. The module can include a channel having side walls and an open top and can extend between first and second ends. The module can also include an array of light emitting diodes disposed in the channel and a driver for controlling the light emitting diodes. The module can also include a lens mountable in the open top and a cap selectively engageable with at least one of the first and second ends. The cap can be removed from one of the ends when the module is interconnected with a second light module. The system can also include any one or more of a linking bracket, a positioning bracket assembly, tools for assembling the lens to the channel, and a control module.
