Abstract: A method of operating a touch control electronic device includes the steps of: (a) activating a program; (b) detecting a touch signal forming a curve, which includes a first sensing point and a second sensing point; and (c) calculating a distance variation between the first sensing point and the second sensing point with a reference point so as to change an attribute value of the program, wherein the reference point is set according to the curve.

Abstract: A method for arranging a user interface layout is provided. The method is adapted for a touch control display displaying a plurality of icons. Each icon corresponds to a sensing range thereof on the touch control display. The method includes: statistically calculating a utilization frequency of each icon generated by touching the icon on the touch control display; and adjusting the sensing ranges of the icons according to the corresponding utilization frequencies thereof.

Abstract: A computer system with window-based OS (Operating System) and a program plug-in management method is provided. Even though a non-plug-in application installed in the computer system is originally incapable of plugging into a target program, through the method, certain non-plug-in application will still be plugged into the desired target program. A plug-in management table is constructed in advance to store frame information of an assigned frame within the window of the target program and plug-in information of the non-plug-in application and the target program. The non-plug-in application will be plugged into the assigned frame within the window of the target program according to the plug-in management table. After activated, the non-plug-in application and the target program will be executed in parallel so that the non-plug-in application will remain in the window of the target program without shrinking into a bottom toolbar or disappearing from the window.

Abstract: A browsing system and method thereof are applied in an electronic apparatus to browse a document data. The scope of the document data is greater than a screen of the electronic apparatus. The browsing system at least comprises a detection unit and a display processing unit. The detection unit is used to detect a displacement and a displacement direction generated by the electrical apparatus while moving. The display processing unit is used to enable the electronic apparatus to display a corresponding screen of the document data based on the displacement and the displacement direction. The browsing system can be activated and the zoom-in or the zoom-out of the document data can be controlled through an operation interface of the electronic apparatus.

Abstract: A method for plug-in program management is provided, including the starting of a plug-in program after the computer is booted and finishes the initialization. The plug-in program automatically loads a plug-in management table, which is customized by the user to include the target programs. The user uses a mouse to select and drag a target program for plugging into a frame of another program to improve the efficiency of the workflow.

Abstract: A method for selection and transfer a computer object between computers is employed in a computer networking environment including at least two computer devices and a network interface coupling between the computer devices. A computer object selection/transfer pen is used to select a computer object from a source computer device and an object ID of the computer object is picked up by the pen. The pen is then moved to a target computer device and the object ID is transferred to the target computer device. The target computer searches and retrieves the computer object from the source computer device via the network interface. The network interface can be a cable-based computer network interface or a wireless network interface and can alternatively include a servo computer to perform transfer of the computer object.

Abstract: A system and method of interactive access control for a computer device is provided, applicable to an environment where a computer is shared by a plurality of users through user control units. The computer stores all the identification code, corresponding icons, and default access rights setting of all the user control units. When the computer detects a user requests for access to the computer, the computer displays the corresponding icon as a cursor on the monitor and allows the user to access the computer under the default access rights setting, all according to the identification code of the requesting user control unit.
