Abstract: A system includes a server, a mobile device with a positioning unit, and an operation module. The server has a mascot database and a map database where main areas are defined. The positioning unit determines a current location of the mobile device for navigation. The operation module includes a mascot collecting unit linked to the mascot database, a photograph collecting unit linked to the map database, and a camera module connected to both collecting units. When the current location corresponds to a main position of one main area, at least one mascot linked to the main area is incorporated into the mascot collecting unit so that the mascot, a real scene of the main area, and the user are caught in a frame by the camera module to form and store a picture in the photograph collecting unit, thereby enjoying collecting mascots and combining travel guidance with reality games.

  • Publication number: 20070112481
Abstract: A wireless rail detection system is disclosed. A wireless detecting device is disposed on a trolley. When the trolley moves along the rail, the system acquires image and temperature data of the rail through a camera or a temperature measuring device of the wireless detecting device. The data is then transferred to a remote monitoring device through a wireless transmission interface for the factory staff's inspection. Therefore, the danger and the manpower of the manual detection method can be reduced. The purpose of monitoring the state of the rail can also be achieved.

  • Publication number: 20050184650
Abstract: An organic electro-luminescent device comprising a first substrate, a conductive layer and a second substrate is provided. A first electrode layer and an organic functional layer are sequentially laid on the first substrate. A second electrode is laid on the second substrate. The conductive layer is sandwiched between the second electrode layer and the organic functional layer. The second electrode layer is electrically connected to the organic functional layer through the conductive layer. Because the second electrode layer is disposed on the second substrate individually, one has no misgiving about damaging the other film layers during the fabrication of the second electrode layer. In other words, the organic electro-luminescent device has a wider processing window.

  • Patent number: 6797985
Abstract: An active matrix organic light-emitting diode and manufacturing method thereof is provided. A thin film transistor having a gate, a source and a drain is formed over a substrate. An anode layer is formed over the substrate such that the anode layer connects electrically with the source terminal of the thin film transistor. An organic layer is formed to cover the anode layer and the thin film transistor. The organic layer between the source and the drain serves as a channel region of the thin film transistor. A cathode layer is formed over the organic layer. Since the molecules inside the organic layer are aligned in a direction from the source to the drain and perpendicular to a direction from the anode layer to the cathode layer, electron mobility at the channel region is enhanced and the emitting efficiency of the diode is increased.
