Abstract: A beverage fountain includes a reservoir for containing a low-viscosity liquid. A riser tube extends upwardly from the reservoir. A pump pumps liquid from the reservoir upwardly through the riser tube. A weir at an upper part of the riser tube has a peripheral array of drains past which individual streams of liquid flow for return to the reservoir and possible interception by a drinking vessel.

Abstract: A confectionery moulding device for making confectionery pieces from a source of flowing confectionery includes a number of trays supported by the frame and positioned one above another, each tray has a number of mould cavities interconnected by flow tracks. At least some of the trays include a drain via which the flowing confectionery material can pass to a tray underneath.

Abstract: A method of automatically categorizing an input image comprises extracting features of the input image and generating a signature vector representing the input image. The signature vector is processed using diverse classifiers to classify the input image based on the combined output of the diverse classifiers.

Abstract: A method of generating a panorama from a sequence of video frames, comprises determining keyframes in the video sequence at least partially based on changes in color and feature levels between video frames of the sequence and stitching the determined keyframes together to form a panorama. An apparatus for generating a panorama from a sequence of video frames is also provided.

Abstract: A method of automatically estimating the layout of a sequentially ordered series of frames to be used to form a panorama comprises examining frames of the series to determine an initial flow direction and identifying a first interruption in the series of frames. The frames are then ranked in an evenly ranked matrix according to matrix dimensions based at least partly upon the initial flow direction and characteristics of the first interruption. An apparatus and computer readable media embodying a computer program for automatically estimating the layout of a sequentially ordered series of frames to be used to form a panorama are also provided.

Abstract: A system and method for processing a request for contextual information. The method comprises the steps of receiving a request for contextual information from a client, determining particulars of the request. The method also comprises the step of determining an appropriate response to the request, the appropriate response comprising at least one selected from the group comprising of: (1) enhancing, adding, or deleting select particulars of the request, (2) determining at least one appropriate sponsor or provider to fulfill the request, and (3) determining appropriate contextual information to present to the client in response to the request.

The alarm system (52) comprises an alarm (60) associated with at least one treatment parameter. The alarm (60) includes a first alarm state (1) associated with a first event relating to the treatment parameter and a second alarm state (2) associated with a second event. The second alarm state (2) is discernable from the first alarm state (1), which will allow each of the events to be treated differently by a caregiver.

Abstract: A lubricant composition especially useful for saw guide use comprises a base oil composed of at least one synthetic ester and a thickener composed of a styrene-olefin copolymer dissolved in a vegetable oil. The thickener is present in an amount sufficient to provide the lubricant with a viscosity at 40.degree. C. of greater than about 100 cSt.

Abstract: A sulfur free lubricating composition comprises a major portion of a synthetic base lubricating oil and a minor portion of a tri(alkyl phenyl) phosphate or di(alkylphenyl)phosphoric acid antiwear agent, an amine antioxidant a substituted succinamide rust inhibitor and a tolytriazole. The tri(alkylphenyl)phosphate antiwear agent is incorporated in the oil in an amount ranging between about 0.1 to 2.0 wt % and the amine antioxidant in amount ranging from about 0.1 to 5 wt %. The succinamide is present in an amount ranging from about 0.01 to 0.5 wt % and the tolytriazole, from about 0.01 to 0.5 wt %. In the foregoing, the wt % is based on the weight of oil.
