Abstract: The present disclosure provides a camera and a method for filming a golf game. The method comprises: recording the first direction, vertical angle, and horizontal angle of a camera when a desired hitting direction, a desired hitting distance, and a desired proportion of zoom are determined; recording the second direction, vertical angle, and horizontal angle of the camera when a golfer is detected; controlling a pan-tilt head to pan a camera module to the desired hitting direction according to the first and second direction, and the first and second horizontal and vertical angles, and the desired proportion of zoom once the ball is determined to be successfully hit, so as to film the golf game; and stopping filming when a flight duration of the ball corresponding to the desired hitting distance elapses. A system including the camera, a portable device, and a cloud server is also provided.
