  • Publication number: 20210062549
Abstract: A housing includes an upper housing member, a lower housing member, a first interlocking member, and a second interlocking member. The first interlocking member includes an engagement portion, and a first interlocking portion. The engagement portion is at a proximate end and is configured to engage a corresponding contact surface of the upper housing member. The first interlocking portion is at a distal end. The second member extends from the lower housing member into an inner volume of the upper housing member. The second interlocking member includes an opening and a second interlocking portion. The opening is positioned between a proximate end and a distal end of the second interlocking member. The window is configured to at least partially receive the first interlocking portion of the first interlocking member. The second interlocking portion is configured to engage a corresponding engagement portion of the upper housing member.

  • Publication number: 20200158360
Abstract: An actuator is usable in an airside system, waterside system, building management system, or HVAC system. The actuator includes a housing. The housing includes an enclosure having an interior surface with a channel. The channel includes a ledge portion. The channel extends through the enclosure. The actuator includes a yoke having a notch located on an external surface of the yoke. The actuator includes a locking mechanism including a ring having a tab. The tab is defined by a width of the channel and a width of the notch. Following assembly, the yoke is positioned in the enclosure such that the notch rests upon the ledge portion. Additionally, the locking mechanism is positioned on an opposite side of the enclosure with the tab positioned in the channel adjacent to the notch. As a result, the locking mechanism inhibits movement of the yoke relative to the enclosure.

  • Publication number: 20190203849
Abstract: A variety of assemblies are configured for use with an actuator. An adaptor includes protrusions configured to engage grooves in a channel wall of the actuator and a snapping structured configured to receive a snapping feature of an output gear. A spring clip rotatably secures a yoke having a yoke slot and an output gear having a circumferential slot in the output channel of the adaptor. A lock clip has an arm and a lock clip, the lock clip having an inner wall shaped to correspond to a polygonal opening that extends through the base ring of a yoke. An adaptor prevents a valve from being coupled to the actuator by a bracket in one or more incorrect orientations, and permits the valve to be coupled to the actuator by the bracket in the correct orientation.
