  • Publication number: 20220044788
Abstract: A system, apparatus, and/or method of may determine a caloric requirement of an animal. Animal characteristic data including a weight, body type, or breed of the animal may be received. Movement data of the animal may be received (e.g., received via a sensor) for a first predetermined time period. The movement data may include a speed of the animal, a distance traveled by the animal, a location of the animal, and/or steps taken by the animal. An activity level of the animal during the first predefined time period may be determined based on the movement data of the animal. A caloric requirement of the animal during a second predetermined time period may be determined. The caloric requirement of the animal may be based on the activity level of the animal and/or the animal characteristic data of the animal. The caloric requirement of the animal may be displayed.

  • Patent number: 9487954
Abstract: The present invention relates to a laced composite system with high rotational capacity and ductility which resists the suddenly applied dynamic loads by undergoing excessive plastic deformation, while still maintaining the integrity of the system. The laced composite system comprising, a sandwiched filler material between upper and lower cover plates (1); the said cover plates being provided with the plurality of perforations (2) along the length, plurality of reinforcing members (3) being passed through the said perforations to connect the said cover plates leaving bent edges of the reinforcing members projecting outside the cover plates, plurality of transverse/cross rods (4) being attached at the outer side of the said cover plates through the space available in between the cover plates and bends of the reinforcing members projecting outside the cover plates to hold the said reinforcing members in order to enhance the ductility and rotational capacity of the said laced composite system.

  • Publication number: 20090267866
Abstract: A back-to-back dual display laptop notebook computer enables a presenter and recipient passive viewers sitting opposite to each other to simultaneously view the back-to-back display through a master display and a slave display, respectively, with master and slave display units selectively switched off for use as a normal laptop computer, or for use of the slave display independently by switching the slave display to be upside down.

  • Publication number: 20080165080
Abstract: A back-to-back replica display facility for a computer uses LCD flat panel displays, including first and second LCD flat panel displays, with the first display being a master display facing in a first direction for displaying a first image, and with the second display being a slave display facing in a second direction opposite to the first direction, with the second display exactly fitting the back of the first display and the second display displays a second image identical to the first image. The first and second LCD flat panel displays may include thin film transistor (TFT) LCDs. The second display may include a control button for controlling the operation of the second display, such as the contrast, power on and off, and screen size of the second display. A mechanism may be included for selectively tilting the first and second displays.
