Abstract: A micro chamber arrangement for development of oocytes, fertilisation and embryo culture. Objects are kept in a micro environment. The system monitors and regulates the environment for the objects and incorporates regular quality control. The device is very suitable for large scale embryo production. The arrangement can be used for follicle sorting, follicular growth, oocyte maturation, oocyte enucleation, in vitro fertilisation, cloning, nuclear transfer, genetic modification, embryo culture, embryo encapsulation and embryo transport.
