Patent number: 6523378Abstract: A push-lock includes a body. The body is formed with a channel having a pair of portions. A cylinder is movable in the body between a front position and a rear position, and has a latch rotatably connected thereto. The latch defines two opposed cutouts in a periphery thereof. A clip has a pair of shanks resiliently flexible in the portions of the channel. The shanks normally abut the periphery of the latch. A spring is provided for moving the cylinder back to the front position. Additionally, the latch can be turned relative to the cylinder in such a manner that the shanks snapped in the cutout may be pushed outward by the turning latch till the shanks fully slide out of the cutouts and abut the periphery of the latch again.Type: GrantFiled: May 9, 2001Date of Patent: February 25, 2003Inventor: Lambert Kuo

Publication number: 20020134121Abstract: A combination lock with a simplified structure is disclosed. The lock includes a male body having an outwardly extending bolt with an axial row of projecting bits formed thereon, and a female body having an outwardly extending tube with an axial narrow opening defined therein. The tube is used for receiving the outwardly extending bolt of the male body in a way of allowing the bits to be protruded therefrom through the axial narrow opening. The tube further has a plurality of axial grooves defined in an outer periphery thereof. A set of dials is mounted around the tube of the female body. Each of the dials has a dial ring, and a hairspring carried on the dial ring and having a pair of curved portions extending inward to engage two of the axial grooves of the tube.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 20, 2001Publication date: September 26, 2002Inventor: Lambert Kuo

Publication number: 20020104337Abstract: A combination lock includes a male bolt and a female body for receiving and releasably locking the male bolt. The female body includes a cylindrical core having an enlarged front end and a rear end, with the enlarged front end defining a channel in which the male bolt may be inserted. A set of dials is mounted around the cylindrical core between the enlarged front end and a retainer. A spring has a tendency to move the rotary ring from the second axial position to the first axial position, while the retainer is formed with a button adapted to move the inner rotary ring from the first axial position to the second axial position. Therefore, the combination of the lock can be reset or changed by rotating the outer dial rings while retaining the inner rings in a non-rotatable mode after the button is pressed down.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 6, 2001Publication date: August 8, 2002Inventor: Lambert Kuo

Patent number: 6386005Abstract: A combination lock has a plug with a tube extending from the plug. Multiple combination ring assemblies are disposed around the tube, and each of the combination ring assemblies include a combination ring, a positioning ring, and an abutting ring. A bar is inserted with an end inside the tube and an opposed end mounted with a nut extending outside the tube. A cap having a chamber inside is received in a cover, and the nut is received in the chamber. When changing a combination number of the combination lock, a tool is used to turn the cap to separate the combination ring and the positioning ring thus allows the combination number to be changed, and when the changing is completed, the cap is turned to a original position and the combination ring and the positioning ring engages together automatically.Type: GrantFiled: April 24, 2001Date of Patent: May 14, 2002Inventor: Lambert Kuo
