Abstract: The invention relates to a process for preparing methacrylates of fluorinated alcohols, which consists in reacting said alcohols with an excess of methacrylic acid in the presence of phosphoric anhydride, which acts as a catalyst and absorbs the water which has formed. The process is applicable to primary, secondary and tertiary fluorinated alcohols and to alcohols and diols with perfluoroethereal chains.

Abstract: An improved needle for multiple vacuum blood sample devices, consisting in two opposed, coplanar needles connected by an oblique member and protected by a rigid sheath such that the relevant test tube holder is not coaxial to the needle to be introduced in the vein; the second needle is angled with respect to the geometrical axis of the test tube so that the outflowing blood strikes only against only the side wall of the test tube, and with the minimum angle of incidence.

Abstract: Mono- and bis-hypofluorites respectively of formula: FO.sub.2 S--R.sub.f --CF.sub.2 OF and FOCF.sub.2 --R'.sub.f --CF.sub.2 OF wherein R.sub.f is perfluoroalkylene or perfluorochloroalkylene and R'.sub.f is a perfluoroalkylene or perfluorooxyalkylene, and process for preparing them, which is conducted continuously, at a temperature from 0.degree. to 60.degree. C. and comprises starting from the respective acyl fluorides ##STR1## by reaction of fluorine in the gas phase in the presence of a catalyst consisting of K, Rb, Cs or Ba fluoride, preferably supported on a metal material.
