  • Publication number: 20240163751
Abstract: A method performed by a UE connected to a first cell associated with a first satellite is provided. The method receives a measurement configuration includes a first SMTC and a second SMTC. The first and second SMTCs have at least a first parameter that is common to both first and second SMTCs and a second parameter that is different in each SMTC. The method receives a signal to perform a measurement procedure for a second cell associated with a second satellite. The method performs the measurement procedure based on the received measurement configuration, where the first parameter includes a duration of time that indicates an SMTC window within which at least one of an SSB or a CSI-RS is detectable by the UE to perform the measurement procedure, and the second parameter includes an offset value.

  • Patent number: 11958919
Abstract: The present invention provides a “living” radical polymerization method for a vinyl monomer by near-infrared photothermal conversion. The method comprises irradiating a reactor with near-infrared light of 750-850 nm, wherein the reactor has a first chamber and a second chamber that are isolated from each other, the first chamber contains an organic solution of a near-infrared light responsive croconaine dye, and the second chamber is provided with a closed reaction flask containing a reaction solution, the reaction solution comprises a vinyl monomer, two or more of an ATRP initiator, an ATRP ligand, an ATRP catalyst, an RAFT reagent, a thermal initiator, and an additive, and an organic solvent; and the near-infrared light responsive dye converts the near-infrared light into heat energy, by which the reactor is heated to 50-100° C. to polymerize the monomer in the reaction solution, to obtain polymers with controlled molecular weights and molecular weight distributions.

  • Patent number: 11948576
Abstract: Implementations can reduce the time required to obtain responses from an automated assistant through proactive caching, locally at a client device, of proactive assistant cache entries—and through on-device utilization of the proactive assistant cache entries. Different proactive cache entries can be provided to different client devices, and various implementations relate to technique(s) utilized in determining which proactive cache entries to provide to which client devices. In some of those implementations, in determining which proactive cache entries to provide (proactively or in response to a request) to a given client device, a remote system selects, from a superset of candidate proactive cache entries, a subset of the cache entries for providing to the given client device.

  • Publication number: 20230297964
Abstract: A method, a system, and computer program product for managing pay equity cloud-based software applications are provided. A query for compensation data for an employment position associated with a macro-entity is received. The employment position is defined by parameters associated with a micro-entity. The compensation data for similar employment positions associated with the macro-entity is retrieved, from a database and by using the parameters. The compensation data is processed to generate grouped and ranked employment positions. Compensation gaps between the ranked employment positions are determined, by executing a multivariate regression analysis including an analysis of one or more cohorts of employment positions within the ranked employment positions. A recommendation for adjusting compensation associated with one or more employment positions is generated, by using a machine learning model. An instruction to display a notification including the recommendation is provided.

  • Patent number: 10949429
Abstract: In general, the subject matter described in this specification can be embodied in methods, systems, and program products. A score for each of a plurality of authors of posts submitted to a server system is determined. The score for each individual author in the plurality is based on a score of one or more authors in the plurality that have requested to subscribe to a stream of posts that the individual author submits to the server system. A particular post submitted by a particular author in the plurality is received at the server system and from a computing device. A score is assigned to the particular post based on a score of the particular author. The particular post is transmitted from the server system to computing devices that are associated with authors who have requested to subscribe to posts by the particular author.

  • Patent number: 10511652
Abstract: In general, the subject matter described in this specification can be embodied in methods, systems and program products. A server system receives from a plurality of computing devices indications that a user of each of the computing devices requested to receive posts that a first user authors. The server system receives from a first computing device a post that was authored by the first user. The post is transmitted from the server system to the plurality of computing devices. A score for the post is determined to satisfy a criteria for transmission to a second user who has not requested to receive posts authored by the first user. The determination uses a distance of the second user to the first user in a social network graph. In response, the post is transmitted from the server system to a second computing device that is associated with the second user.
