The brassiere further comprises a breast covering layer including first and second breast covering portions. When the covering portions are connected to the shoulder straps, they cover the breasts and the support straps; when detached, they expose the breasts and the openings on the support straps, facilitating breastfeeding or insertion of the breast pump into the openings for pumping.
