  • Patent number: 10792218
Abstract: A liner for use with a basin to contain a liquid features two bodies of flexible plastic which are joined at adjacent faces of the distinct plastic bodies so as to form an interface of the plastic bodies. The liner includes an air conduit adapted for guiding pressurized air substantially within the thickness of the bag from an air discharge apparatus, which generates the pressurized air, to the interior of the liner. A length of the air conduit is formed at the interface of the plastic bodies such that a circumferential wall of the length of the air conduit is defined in part by an inner face of each plastic body. The plastic body of the liner that is arranged to contact an inside face of the basin is substantially imperforate so as to isolate the liner interior, where the liquid is received, from the basin.

  • Patent number: 10195108
Abstract: A liner for containing a soaking solution in use with a foot spa features two bodies of plastic which are joined at an interface therebetween so as to form two, individual layers. An air conduit is formed between the two layers so as to provide a passageway for pressurized air, which is supplied by an air discharge apparatus, across walls of the liner and into the soaking solution. The inner layer has openings such that the air guided through the air conduit can be released into an inside volume of the liner where the soaking solution is containable. Furthermore, the outer layer is imperforate from a location thereon at which a starting end of the air conduit is disposed to a free end of the layers so as to isolate the inside volume of the liner from the soaking basin.

  • Patent number: 9439831
Abstract: A pedicure bowl has a bottom discharge drain opening communicating with a discharge duct and is arranged to receive a liner to ensure hygienic operation in the form of a thin flexible material applied over the inner surface to contain the liquid within the liner and to cover the drain opening. The drain opening is closed by the liner so that liquid within the container applies downward pressure on the liner at the drain opening and a sealing member is mounted in the duct downstream of the drain opening to prevent air flow so as to form a back pressure underneath the liner to prevent the downward pressure from rupturing the liner. The sealing member is operable to release the back pressure to cause the liner at the discharge opening to rupture.

  • Patent number: 9289353
Abstract: A spa chair with a novel pedicure basin is disclosed. The pedicure basin has a main basin and a secondary basin. The main basin is where the feet of the person sitting in the spa chair goes. This main basin is generally filled with water. In one embodiment, the main basin has water overflow protection through a lowered rim, directing the overflow of water to a secondary basin. This method of overflow protection is especially useful where the main basin has a liner blocking the drain hole within the main basin.

  • Patent number: 7950079
Abstract: A spa chair pedicure basin sanitation liner that allows a user to enjoy the water agitation benefits of a water based pedicure foot massage while preventing infection from reused basin water. The liner includes a bottom portion and a plurality of sidewalls attached to the bottom portion. The bottom portion and the plurality of sidewalls define an inner volume, which is capable of containing a liquid, such as water, filled up to a particular liquid level. Disposed within the inner volume, is gas piping that defines a gas-carrying conduit. The gas piping includes a plurality of openings through which gas can pass into the inner volume.
