  • Patent number: 11946490
Abstract: A blower vacuum, the blower vacuum including a nozzle forming a first opening, a fan housing in fluid communication with the nozzle, an inlet exhaust housing rotatably coupled to the fan housing, and a debris housing. The fan housing forms a second opening. A fan assembly is positioned at the fan housing. The inlet exhaust housing includes an inlet portion and an exhaust portion. The inlet exhaust housing is rotatable to a first position forming a blower operation and a second position forming a vacuum operation. The debris housing is coupled to the exhaust portion of the inlet exhaust housing.

  • Publication number: 20230321863
Abstract: A chainsaw, a lubrication system for a chainsaw, and a lubricant for a chainsaw are provided. The chainsaw includes a lubrication system and guide bar extending from a housing. The lubrication system includes a reservoir at which a lubricant is contained. The reservoir is releasably attachable to a machine drive device. The machine drive device includes a body at which a pump apparatus is positioned. The machine drive device forms an inlet opening in fluid communication with the reservoir. The machine drive device forms an outlet opening at which a conduit is fluidly coupled to receive the lubricant. The conduit forms a conduit outlet through which the lubricant is provided to the guide bar.

  • Publication number: 20220394919
Abstract: Quick release blade assemblies for a power tool are provided. A lawnmower includes a base including an engagement interface; a retainer having a locking component; a blade disposed between the base and the retainer; and an actuatable member including an engagement member, the engagement member being selectively displaceable with respect to the engagement interface between a locked configuration and an unlocked configuration when the actuatable member is translated in a direction parallel with the axis of rotation, wherein the engagement member is configured to interface with the locking component to selectively couple the blade to the drive shaft when the engagement member is in the locked configuration.

  • Publication number: 20220010798
Abstract: A blower including a housing at least partially defining a chamber, a motor including a drive shaft defining a rotational axis, and an impeller drive by the motor to generate an air flow in the chamber. The blower also includes a coupler operably connected between the drive shaft and the impeller to transmit torque therebetween, the coupler being connected to one of the drive shaft and the impeller and including a plurality of ribs configured to engage the other of the drive shaft and the impeller, each rib defining a rib axis transverse to the rotational axis, each rib axis being arranged tangent to a circle centered on the rotational axis.

  • Patent number: 11156224
Abstract: A blower including a housing at least partially defining a chamber, a motor including a drive shaft defining a rotational axis, an impeller driven by the motor to generate an air flow in the chamber, and a coupler operably connected between the drive shaft and the impeller. The chamber may have an axial height which increases from a position proximate a back plate to a position spaced from the back plate. The chamber may have a non-circular cross-section proximate a chamber outlet, and a tube assembly in fluid communication with the chamber may have a tube inlet with a non-circular cross-section. The impeller may define two separate airflow paths each having an inlet and an outlet.

  • Patent number: 10897858
Abstract: An air-flow generating device, such as a blower, a vacuum, a mulcher, etc. The device may include a motor, a housing that supports the motor, and a passageway coupled to the housing and defining a passageway axis between a first opening and a second opening. The device may also include a fan assembly with a first axial fan and a second axial fan, and a transmission assembly coupling the first axial fan and the second axial fan to the motor. The transmission assembly may include a transmission shaft rotatable about a transmission axis substantially orthogonal to the passageway axis. An actuator may be operable to adjust the fan assembly about the transmission axis between a first condition, in which the first axial fan is positioned proximate the first opening, and a second condition, in which the second axial fan is positioned proximate the first opening.
