Abstract: A method for handling asphalt emulsion is provided. The method includes providing the asphalt emulsion. The method also includes employing a first set of diaphragm pumps to transfer the asphalt emulsion from a first container to a second container. The second container represents a first storage tank if the first container is a colloidal mill. The second container represents a transportation tank if the first container is the first storage tank. The second container represents a second storage tank at a job site if the first container is the transportation tank. The second container represents a slurry machine if the first container is the second storage tank at the job site.

Abstract: A method for creating asphalt emulsion is provided. The method includes heating a base asphalt. The method also includes injecting the base asphalt into a colloid mill. The method further includes breaking up the base asphalt into small particles. The method yet also include preparing a soap solution, wherein the soap solution includes an acid, water, and a first emulsifier, wherein the first emulsifier is an alkyl amines salt based emulsifier. The method yet further includes combining the small particles of the base asphalt with the soap solution to create the asphalt emulsion.

Abstract: A surgical glove, manufactured from an elastomeric material, includes an enlarged thumb ball portion which extends across the entire width of the palm, from the base of the thumb to the base of the fifth finger. The enlarged thumb ball portion improves the comfort of the glove. The glove also features independently-curved fingers and a cuff portion.
