  • Publication number: 20240159788
Abstract: An autonomous probing system includes a computer, a probe assembly, a PLC, and an optical sensor. The optical sensor captures image data of a probing environment. The probe assembly includes a moveable probe portion and a sensor. The probe portion is moveable between a first and second position. The sensor has a first sensor value that is indicative of the first position. The computer receives image data from the optical sensor and detects a vehicle positioned within the probing environment. The computer then determines one or more target areas within the vehicle and an X coordinate position and a Y coordinate position of one or more probe target points within each of the target areas. Based on the first sensor value and the X and Y coordinate positions, the computer determines a second sensor value, which is indicative of the second position and transmits the value to the PLC.

  • Patent number: 10759429
Abstract: “Roll-off” is considered to be any unwanted vehicle movement after a parking brake is engaged. Roll-off is prevented or reduced by a method and apparatus that adjusts hydraulic brake pressure applied to vehicle wheel brakes if unintended motion is detected when the parking brake is engaged and the vehicle's transmission is not in the park position.

  • Patent number: 8904935
Abstract: A shape charge holder includes a platform where all the charges are symmetrically positioned about equidistance from each adjacent charge and about an equal distance from a center point. The center point is generally the centroid of the platform. The holder has an explosive bridge fixture which enables simultaneous detonation of at least three shape charges. The charges are angularly mounted in sockets having holes through the platform. When detonated, each jet formed by the exploding shape charge proceeds to a convergence point located orthogonal to the platform. The holder includes a supporting structure that establishes a standoff distance of the platform/charges from a target. In operation, the explosive fixture is attached to each charge and is filled with an explosive that extends to each charge. The explosive fixture includes a single igniter assuring that when the explosive is detonated, so are the shape charges.

  • Publication number: 20130206193
Abstract: The present invention is a sand umbrella device that includes an umbrella that protects and shields one or more users, a swivel mechanism that allows the umbrella to swivel to protect and shield one or more users in a plurality of positions, a top pipe piece that is integral to the swivel mechanism and a middle pipe piece. The sand umbrella device also includes a bottom pipe piece where the distal end of the middle pipe piece is removably slid into the proximal end of the bottom pipe piece, an auger blade that is disposed on the bottom pipe piece and is pushed and twisted into sand or other suitable ground surface to secure the sand umbrella device in an upright position and a 90 degree elbow wherein the proximal end of the 90 degree elbow is integral to the swivel mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20110047934
Abstract: An apparatus for evacuating and sealing a panel having a core material and a pair of walls. The apparatus includes a flexible bag that surrounds the panel and a vacuum pump assembly configured to evacuate air from within the bag. A sealing mechanism is located in the bag. The sealing mechanism is configured to bond at least one pair of adjoining edges of the pair of walls together to seal a panel with an evacuated core.

  • Publication number: 20050059565
Abstract: A cleaning composition is provided comprising a solvent system and at least one inorganic alkaline salt, wherein the solvent system includes at least one polyhydric alcohol. The inventive composition may also include a thickener, a corrosion-inhibition system, surfactant. The invention also provides a method of cleaning soil from a cooking related surface comprising, applying a cleaning composition to the surface, allowing the cleaning composition to remain on the surface for a period of time and removing the composition from the surface along with the soil. After application of the composition, the surface can be heated prior to removal of the composition and soil from the surface.
