Abstract: A hydrokinetic electric generator system for use in water that includes a first generator located inside a submersible first housing with fore and aft sections with respective fore and aft attachment points, a center of mass of the first generator located between the fore and aft attachment points, the first generator having a shaft extending out the aft section of the first housing with a turbine attached to the shaft, a flotation support structured to float on the water, and a first cable having a first end attached to the flotation support and a second end attached to the first attachment point on the fore section, and a second cable having a first end attached to the flotation support and a second end attached to the second attachment point in a manner to permit the system to change position in response to changes in direction of water current.

Abstract: Techniques and mechanisms for determining an operation mode of an audio-video (AV) device. In an embodiment, communication logic of the AV device may be configured at different times for different ones of a plurality of operation modes including an AV source operation mode for providing AV information to another device and an AV sink operation mode for receiving AV information from another device. In response to a detected event, control logic initializes the communication logic of the AV device into a default mode which prevents operation of the communication logic as an AV source.

Abstract: Embodiments may generally relate to a device for supporting the head of a human subject and may comprise a wearable chin pillow. Such an embodiment may include a chin support member having a major axis defining a first end and a second end, and an orthogonal minor axis. The chin support member may have a positive curvature in a direction parallel to one or more of the major axis or the minor axis. Embodiments may further include at least one mounting strap attached to at least one of the first end or the second end of the chin support member. The mounting strap may be adapted to engage the neck of a wearer in a retaining relation.

Abstract: A product pricing system and method thereof, including a computer-implemented pricing engine being a single software application automatically generating prices for different types of products in accordance with pricing attributes for the different types of products provided to the pricing engine by a system administrator via a graphical user interface. When a pricing request is sent to the pricing engine from a product requestor applying for a respective product, the pricing engine automatically generates a price for the respective product in accordance with the pricing attributes provided for the respective product and the pricing request.
