    Abstract: An apparatus and method is provided for sealing a balloon. The apparatus includes a body for placing in the balloon that is buoyant in water and which has an outer surface that can form a water-tight seal with the inside surface of the balloon. When the balloon is filled with water, the body floats to the top of the water and, if the balloon is filled sufficiently, seals against the opening of the balloon.
