Abstract: A fastener for footwear having two opposed lacing flaps has a rotatable elongated body member having two oppositely disposed groups of two or more arms. The arms of each group are pivotally and eccentrically connected to the body member and are arranged in a series along the body member which allows pivotal movement of the arms along a substantially common axis opposite that of the other group. The arms are engageable with the flaps. Rotation of the body member alters the relative positions of the axes to draw the flaps together and the body member can be locked at a selected position of rotation.
