  • Publication number: 20160347510
Abstract: A reservoir closure is provided. The reservoir closure includes a first side having a first end, a second end, and a first body extending between the first end and the second end. A second side has another first end, another second end, and a second body extending between the other first end and the other second end. A first connector is rotatably coupled to the first end of the first side and the first end of the second side. A second connector is rotatably coupled to the second end of the first side and the second end of the second side, wherein the first connector and the second connector are configured to selectively move the first side and the second side relative to each other between a first position and a second position. A first latch is rotatably coupled to the first side.

  • Publication number: 20140162508
Abstract: Disclosed is a telescoping pole connected to a sealing attachment that has two sealing caps, each having a tubular aperture. The sealing caps fit over the water intake ports of an outboard or a sterndrive marine motor, creating an enclosed compartment through which water can be pumped into the marine engine and outdrive. A hose runs down along the length of the telescoping pole and connects to one of the sealing caps so that water can be pumped through the hose into the engine. The present invention has connection means for both the telescoping pole and the hose on both sides of the sealing attachment, allowing the present invention to be used regardless of which side of the boat the dock is positioned on.

  • Patent number: 8393246
Abstract: An aerobar assembly for a bicycle that generally includes an aerobar, an adaptor and a control cable guide. The aerobar includes proximal and distal portions and proximal and distal ends. The aerobar has a generally hollow interior. The adaptor mounts an actuator assembly to the aerobar. The adaptor includes an interiorly-disposed portion and an exteriorly-disposed portion. The interiorly-disposed portion is disposed in the hollow interior of the aerobar and is bonded to the distal portion of the aerobar. The exteriorly-disposed portion is configured to receive the actuator assembly. The control cable guide is configured to slidably receive a control cable therethrough. The control cable guide is coupled to the adaptor such that the control cable enters the distal end, extends through the interior of the aerobar, and exits the proximal end of the aerobar.

  • Patent number: 6999943
Abstract: Customers often have access to multiple payment methods for any given transaction. In one embodiment of the invention, a merchant obtains information regarding multiple payment methods from a customer, and sends said information to a transaction evaluator. Via computer networks, the transaction evaluator sends information about the transaction to the issuers of one or more of the payment methods. The issuers perform a cost/benefit analysis of the transactions and respond with a description of the terms under which they are willing to process the transaction. Based on the issuer response, the transaction evaluator selects one of the payment methods. By enabling participating issuers to select favorable transactions and avoid unprofitable ones, the invention can thus improve issuer profitability by directing profitable transactions to participating issuers while directing unprofitable transactions away from participating issuers or to alternate transaction methods that are more profitable or less costly.

  • Publication number: 20050026731
Abstract: A tension adjusting device is attached to an axle member of a driven wheel of a vehicle and is coupled to a forked frame member to adjust tension of a chain. The tension adjusting device has two tension adjusters joined to each side of the axle member that engages a guide recess of the forks of the frame member and support the axle fastener to secure the axle member to the two adjustment plates. The two adjustment plates include extending members that each extend over an end of each fork. An adjustment bore is drilled through the extending member and aligned with the ends of the forks.

  • Patent number: 5660658
Abstract: A method and apparatus for preconditioning a decalcomania transfer for application to a receiving substrate in which the decalcomania is passed through a solution to precondition it for transfer. The decalcomania is fed through a pair of opposed web-like members, passed through a solution bath and has excess solution removed from the decalcomania prior to application to the receiving surface. By controlling the speed of the web-like members, the submersion time of the decalcomania in the solution is controlled. The apparatus is a container which houses the web-like feeder belts and the solution bath. The bath is partially enclosed to minimize evaporation of the solution. A pair of rollers at the outlet of the apparatus control the amount of solution remaining in the decalcomania such that the decalcomania exiting the apparatus will have sufficient solution to allow easy transfer to the receiving surface yet not have too much solution as to result in excess dripping of solution on the receiving item.
