    Abstract: A telescoping package assembly includes a plug portion and a cap portion each including a flat surface. One of the respective flat surfaces includes a series of lock openings and the other includes a lock projection that is selectively receivable in any one of the series of lock openings to adjust a length of the telescoping package assembly. A grip portion extends from the cap portion which is operable to deflect the flat internal surface and release the lock projection from one of the series of lock openings when subjected to an applied pressing force.
