A wireless device is in communication with the server, the wireless device having at least one processor and a memory operatively coupled to the processor, the memory storing program instructions that when executed by the processor, causes the processor to: display a virtual parking meter on the wireless device; send signals from the wireless device to the server to transfer a designated monetary value for a selected parking time interval; and initiate a countdown from the selected parking time interval upon transfer of the designated monetary value.

Abstract: A system for monetary exchange and transfer comprises a centralized location, wherein the centralized location comprises at least a first account at the centralized location comprising first funds for a first user and a second account at the centralized location comprising second funds for a second user. The system may further comprise a first device associated with the first account configured to electronically store by the first device an accounting of the first funds, a second device associated with the second account configured to electronically store by the second device an accounting of the second funds, and an electronic transfer system configured to transfer at least a portion of the first funds from the first device directly to the second device.

Abstract: A system for broadcasting program content via a broadcast transmitter includes one or more sources of a plurality of program content. A scheduling system includes memory storing program content selection rules, a statistical database containing information relevant to programming selection, and a processor operable to utilize said rules to operate on said statistical database to determine program content scheduling. The scheduling system accesses program content in accordance with the determined program content scheduling and causes that programming to be supplied to the transmitter.

Abstract: An electronic assembly having one or more heat producing semiconductor components in the form of a chip or die has improved heat dissipation properties. The semiconductor components are formed into subassemblies comprising one or more of the semiconductor components bonded on opposite planar surfaces to metal lead frames. Each lead frame is bonded to a substrate which is electrically insulating and thermally conductive. The resulting assembly is submerged into a central channel of a heat sink. The channel is adapted to receive the assembly such that the channel walls compressingly engage the assembly. Heat is thereby dissipated from the semiconductor components from both planar surfaces of the component.
