  • Publication number: 20240146497
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for configuring time synchronization in a network. The system includes a time signal source to provide a common time signal to multiple configurable communication devices and a network controller in a control plane, in communication with the multiple configurable communication devices. The network controller is configured to receive time signal source information and to receive device configuration information for a first configurable communication device. The network controller is also configured to determine settings for time signal distribution and to transmit the settings to the multiple configurable communication devices to cause the first configurable communication device to transmit the time signal from the time signal source in a data plane for consumption by the multiple configurable communication devices.

  • Patent number: 11947550
Abstract: Techniques and tools are described for producing time-series data using faceted search based on document creation time. For example, index information can be created from events (e.g., by adding meta-data and indexing the events as documents). In addition, index information can be created that maps document creation time to time ranges. Search queries can then be executed (e.g., comprising ad-hoc filters to filter on the meta-data), and search results can be faceted on the time ranges to produce time-series data. The time-series data can be graphed to display trends of activity (e.g., trends of events based on user activity).

  • Publication number: 20240069847
Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling a display system. The methods comprise: detecting an occurrence of an event; initiating a display session based on the event being of an event type to trigger a display session; and selecting media content (MC) for display by computing devices (ICDs) (wherein ICDs are located in areas or sections (SA/S) of a venue); selecting a first SA/S at which display of MC is to begin; identifying first CDs (FCDs) that are located in the first SA/S; causing FCDs to notify users that FCDs are to be moved into positions in which first pixel panels are visible by persons located outside of the first SA/S; and causing each FCD to display a respective pixel portion of a first electronic graphic (FEI) contained in MC, whereby an entirety of FEI is displayed collectively by FCDs.

  • Patent number: 11891073
Abstract: A control system for a vehicle using a forward-facing camera includes a look ahead module configured to determine a distance to a look ahead point. A lane center module determines a location of a lane center line. A vehicle center line module determines a location of a vehicle center line. A first lateral offset module determines a first lateral offset based on the look ahead point and the determined lane center line. A second lateral offset module determines a second lateral offset based on the determined lane center line and the vehicle center line. A yaw angle offset calculating module receives the first lateral offset, the second lateral offset and the distance to the look ahead point, calculates a yaw angle offset, and compensates a yaw angle error based on the yaw angle offset.

  • Publication number: 20230346568
Abstract: A spinal implant capable of generating an electric output includes a first endplate, a second endplate, and a piezoelectric component disposed between the first and second endplates. The spinal implant may further include an intermediate body and a second piezoelectric component disposed between the intermediate body and the second endplate. The inner surfaces of the endplates and/or the intermediate body may be non-planar, such as having an undulating shape. The electric output is produced when the endplates of the spinal implant undergo a force, including a compressive force and/or a shear force.

  • Patent number: 10710668
Abstract: A handlebar mount assembly for isolating a cycle handlebar from vibrations emanating from operation of a cycle, the assembly including a bottom bracket assembly configured for attachment to a cycle steering mechanism, a top bracket assembly configured for attachment to the bottom bracket assembly, a pair of polymer sleeves configured for placement around the handlebar, a tension clamp configured for clamping the handlebar and a clamp bushing configured for placement between the tension clamp and the top bracket assembly. The sleeves prevent direct contact between the top bracket assembly and the bottom bracket assembly, and the bushing prevents direct contact between the tension clamp and the top bracket assembly. In this manner, the handlebar mount assembly prevents direct and indirect contact of the steering mechanism to the handlebar through the metal components of the handlebar mount assembly.
