  • Publication number: 20220382567
Abstract: The subject disclosure provides systems and methods for providing privacy-preserving social attribution for electronic devices. For example, when information is received from a contact of a user at the user's electronic device, various applications at the electronic device may later display the received information. It can be desirable to attribute the displayed information received from the contact to that contact, without exposing identifying information of the contact to the displaying application. Aspects of the subject technology include a system process that generates an image including contact information, that can be rendered in a user interface of an application, without providing the image or the contact information to the application.

  • Publication number: 20100234812
Abstract: With the use of a selectable fluid path assembly, the recovery and cleaning of the liquid path line is possible. Selecting the primary use path permits a syringe assembly to be filled with fluid in a positive pressure supplied fluid system. When the secondary fluid path is selected, the fluid in the line can be reversed and with negative pressure pulled back through the line up to the pump motor and moved back into the bottle. With air following the liquid a bubble can be detected and stop the fluid reversal. With the use of a selectable fluid path assembly, the prevention of contamination of the remaining liquid in the bottle can be prevent through proper use of the fluid recovery system.

  • Publication number: 20090157219
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention concern improving the dosing accuracy and efficacy of systems that calculate medicine doses for injection in animals and prepare the correct dose in an automated syringe subsystem. In an embodiment, the improvement is gained by simultaneously protecting the medicine from ambient outdoor temperatures that thermally degrade its efficacy while precisely monitoring the amount of medicine remaining inside the source vial to prevent inadvertent under-dosing due to undetected source depletion. This dual-sleeve system (one for temperature, one for data storage concerning the source vial contents) forms an intelligent adjunct to current and future automated injection technology used to maintain healthy livestock.

  • Patent number: 5909589
Abstract: A verifier is provided for assessing unique characteristics exhibits by a user over a period of time. The unique characteristics are captured through various interactions with the user over time using a habit capture system which models the user's characteristics when he or she uses a keyboard, a mouse or a digitizer, among others. When the system is first used, the user is prompted to answer various questions, some of which inquire into personal information. As the user responds, information representative of the user is captured, including keyboard typing patterns, mouse click patterns, misspelling patterns, among others. Data captured by the habit capture system is provided to a verifier which samples the user's characteristics and compares the characteristics of the current user with that stored in a database.
