  • Publication number: 20190276746
Abstract: A system and method for plasma arc anaerobic thermal conversion processing is provided to convert waste into bio-gas; bio-oil; carbonized materials; non-organic ash, and varied further co-products. The system and process supports a variety of processes, including to make, without limitation, carbon, carbon-based inks and dyes, activated carbon, aerogels, bio-coke, and bio-char, as well as generate electricity, produce adjuncts for natural gas, and/or various aromatic oils, phenols, and other liquids, all depending upon the input materials and the parameters selected to process the waste, including real time economic and other market parameters which can result in the automatic re-configuration of the system to adjust its output co-products to reflect changing market conditions. Plasma arc carbonizer off-gases produced during carbonization are supplied to a controlled heated column for refining and recovery of the carbonizer hot gases into distillates.

  • Publication number: 20190177621
Abstract: Systems and process are provided for refining off-gases that are produced by a carbonizer with a controlled heated column. The controlled heated column performs hydro-carbon recycling, and acts as a cracking tower that takes the carbonizer off-gas as a feedstock and distills the off-gases into constituent parts under pressure and temperature conditions where the feedstock evaporates and condenses into a fractional column of distillates. The carbonizer uses anaerobic thermal transformation processing to convert waste into bio-gas; bio-oil; carbonized materials; non-organic ash, distillates, and varied further co-products.

  • Patent number: 10292643
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for rapidly introducing treatment to patients suffering traumatic brain injuries. A wearable map of the brain electroencephalography (EEG) points is worn in a headscarf, helmet, or other headgear for providing real-time information on a wearer's brain condition. The overall system includes an application (app) or program software that may run on a tablet, portable communication device, or computing device that processes the data from the EEG sensors and interprets the data in real time. If there is an accident or other stress forces experienced by the wearer that mimics a concussion, the system initiates the real-time ejection of a cooling agent within the headgear to provide a reduction in the victim's brain temperature with the helmet cooling system. A drug intervention system and injury detection app for expedited treatment of a potential brain injury during the critical early phases of the injury is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20180116543
Abstract: A method for diagnosing and rapidly introducing treatment to a subject suffering visible or non-visible traumatic brain injury is provided. A wearable array of electroencephalography (EEG) sensors in electrical communication with a communications capability to one or more subjects is present. EEG readings from the one or more subjects in a database are accumulated. The occurrence of an accident or other stress forces experienced by a wearer that mimics a concussion or other trauma to the wearer's brain is detected. Based on a comparative analysis of the stored EEG readings in the database a determination is made whether a traumatic brain injury has occurred. A system for diagnosing and the rapid treatment of a wearer suffering traumatic brain injuries according to the inventive method is also provided.

  • Patent number: 9076314
Abstract: Emergent information is created and utilized by an array of sensors. Each sensor is programmed with a trigger rule, which describes a local condition that must be met for the sensor to trigger an event signal, and a relationship rule, which describes a hierarchy of communication control among sensors in the array of sensors. When a predetermined percentage or weighting of the sensors trigger event signals, emergent information that describes conditions at the array location is generated.
