  • Patent number: 6260546
Abstract: A supplemental nitrous oxide and fuel injection system for use with an internal combustion engine, which includes the unique properties of variable flow-rate control of the supplemental injection system and direct cylinder injection methods. Where an engine is normally controlled by the driver with the (0-100%) throttle control of the existing air/fuel system, this supplemental nitrous oxide and fuel injection system is linked to the existing throttle control and controlled in the same manner. In addition, this system also provides a direct cylinder injection method that completely bypasses the existing intake manifold and carburetor/fuel injection.

  • Patent number: 5284134
Abstract: A swivel connector is provided for use in either an intravenous liquid supply line or an oxygen supply line to allow the line to rotate to prevent kinking. A body portion is provided having a cylindrical cavity formed in one end thereof, and a hollow, cylindrical male member slides into the cylindrical cavity and has sufficient clearance to allow free rotation of the male member within the cylindrical cavity. A locking flange is carried by the male member which engages an annular groove formed in the body portion to prevent the male member from inadvertently disengaging from the body portion. A seal is also provided between the male member and the body.

  • Patent number: 5222486
Abstract: A swivel connector is provided for use in an oxygen line to prevent kinking of the oxygen line. The swivel connector has a body with an elongated cylindrical cavity adapted to receive an elongated hollow sleeve. The hollow sleeve has a flange near the end of the sleeve that is inserted into the cavity. A press fit keeper connects firmly to the body and has an inner bore which encircles the sleeve but which provides clearance between the keeper and the sleeve. An O-ring seal is provided between the sleeve and the body. The sleeve is therefore able to freely rotate relative to the body, preventing the oxygen hose from kinking.

  • Patent number: 5145308
Abstract: A motorcycle towing apparatus is provided for use with a towing vehicle having a support bar which slidably engages a hitch receiver carried by the towing vehicle and having a ramp pivotally connected to the rear end of the support bar wherein the ramp is movable from a first position in which the ramp extends downwardly to the ground to a second position in which the ramp is elevated off the ground to provide clearance for towing, and also having a wheel cradle carried by the support bar to support the front wheel of the motorcycle. A single person can load and unload a motorcycle from the device.

  • Patent number: 4641871
Abstract: A retractable safety bumper and air brake actuator is provided in which a bumper is carried at the rear of a trailer such that as the bumper is engaged by an obstruction at the rear of the trailer, the bumper drives a piston to which it is attached into a sleeve, activating a switch and solenoid which release air from the trailer emergency air tank, through the trailer triple valve and into the brake pots of the trailer, thereby immediately locking the trailer brakes without affecting the tractor brakes.
