  • Patent number: 11633752
Abstract: A paint booth assembly includes a paint booth having a pair of side walls and a flood sheet extending between the pair of side walls to separate the paint booth between a spray portion disposed above the flood sheet and a paint recovery portion disposed below the flood sheet. The flood sheet defines at least one flood sheet opening, and a scrubber unit extends down from the flood sheet opening to establish a shared path of fluid communication of a flow of water from the flood sheet and a downdraft of process air from the spray portion to the paint recovery portion. A scrubber pod is disposed within the scrubber unit and defines a plurality of perforations to induce an initial mixing of the paint particles entrained in the downdraft of process air into the flow of water.

  • Publication number: 20150088365
Abstract: A device that performs real-time continuous data extraction from an Engine Control Module to process the data on a portable, full-function, small-size computer in a driver's compartment of a motor vehicle. The device that formats and displays data, calculates results and distributes reports to a variety of visual display devices for viewing in the driver's compartment by an operator of a vehicle while driving. A device that produces inspection reports for mechanics, regulators and drivers, real-time emission test results on demand and live vehicle performance reporting.

  • Publication number: 20090127866
Abstract: The present invention provides, in one embodiment, a device for producing electricity, the device including a housing having a volume of fluid therein, a rotor within the housing, the rotor being in fluid communication with the housing and fixedly attached to a shaft. At least one buoy is sized and shaped to move through the fluid in housing, as well as though an inlet and outlet of the housing. An electrical generator is coupled to the shaft to which the rotor is attached. When a buoy moved into the housing through the inlet, it rises in the fluid and is received by the rotor, causing the rotor to turn as the buoy continues to rise. The turning of the rotor operates the electrical generator.

  • Patent number: 6244811
Abstract: A load lock wafer transfer face is provided at an acute angle with respect to a footprint dimension line, so the length of the footprint dimension line does not include the entire minimum length of the wafer transfer distance that must separate a robot from the wafer transfer face of a load lock. Two adjacent load locks provided for use with a robot have two load lock wafer transfer faces defining a nest, in that each such face is at an acute angle with respect to the footprint dimension line. A robot is mounted for rotation at a fixed location relative to wafer cassettes and to the nested load lock wafer transfer faces, avoiding use of a robot track to move transversely. Because the faces are at the acute angle, there is only a component of, and not the entire, minimum wafer transfer distance extending in the direction of the footprint dimension line.

  • Patent number: 6186875
Abstract: A machine for lapping bowling balls and, thus, re-rounding, smoothing, and cleaning the balls. The machine is comprised of three concave abrasion blocks with drive motors, adjustable mounting brackets attached to an adjustable support table, a catch basin with filter to separate suspended solids from liquids, and a pump and fluid delivery tube to deliver flushing and/or cleaning liquids. The abrasion blocks are comprised of resilient concave blocks with abrasive sanding disks. The positions of all three abrasion blocks are preferably simultaneously and equally adjusted by small adjustments to the position of a top table relative to the stand that holds the pivotal motor mounts. Ramps on the rotatable table cooperate with the mounts to slightly pivot the motor mounts inward and outward from the ball, changing the orientation and distance of the abrasive blocks relative to each other and, hence, to the ball.
