The system includes at least one turbine disposed in flow communication with an exhaust flow of the combustion engine productive of exhaust gases; at least one generator operably connected to a respective one of the at least one turbine to produce respective AC electrical power in response to operation of the at least one turbine; a first inverter operably connected to the at least one generator to produce first electrical power in response to a presence of the respective AC electrical power; and a second inverter operably connected to the at least one generator to produce second electrical power in response to a presence of the respective AC electrical power. The first electrical power and the second electrical power have different voltages.

    Abstract: A throttle control system for an Otto cycle combustion engine includes a compressor and an electric motor. The compressor is rotatable in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions, and has air inlet and outlet ports, the air outlet port being configured to provide intake air to an air intake system of the engine. The motor, operably connected to the compressor, is configured to operate in a first direction to rotate the compressor clockwise or counterclockwise, and in a second direction to rotate the compressor in a direction reverse of the first direction. An unobstructed air flow passage is disposed between the compressor and the air intake system of the engine. Operation of the motor in the first direction facilitates an increase in air pressure at the air intake system, and operation of the motor in the second direction facilitates a decrease in air pressure at the air intake system.

The stator core can include at least two extended members that can radially extend from axial ends of the stator core. An annular member is coupled to the extended members to define a portion of a coolant jacket. The coolant jacket can be further defined between the annular member, the outer diameter of the stator assembly, and the extended members. The electric machine can be positioned within the housing so that the annular member is immediately adjacent to the inner surface.

The pump may be internal to the machine, mounted at an interface between the inside and outside of the machine, or alternatively, it may be externally mounted.

A wire guiding member is supported by the mounting fixture. The wire guiding member is configured and disposed to establish a desired length of wire between adjacent ones of the plurality of stator teeth.
