Patent number: 10401423Abstract: An example test system includes: a test slot to hold a device under test (DUT); a temperature control system comprising a phase-change material, with the temperature control system for maintaining a temperature of the phase-change material in a steady-state condition, with the phase-change material changing phase during a transient condition to affect a temperature of a thermally-conductive structure, and with the steady-state condition being longer in duration than the transient condition; and an air mover to direct air over the thermally-conductive structure and towards the DUT in the test slot in order to affect a temperature of the DUT.Type: GrantFiled: May 3, 2016Date of Patent: September 3, 2019Assignee: Teradyne, Inc.Inventors: Larry Akers, Joseph Wrinn, Philip Campbell, David Graziose

Patent number: 9234649Abstract: A luminaire is disclosed comprising one or more side members having one or more light modules associated therewith and defining a recess. The light module having one or more light sources, one or more light directing members, and a lens enclosing the light sources and directing members in the module. The light directing members redirecting light emitted from at least one of the one or more light sources to be perpendicular to the lens. One or more of the light directing members can be a reflector or an optic lens. The light modules can be configured to cast different light distributions to combine to form the desired light distribution. The light modules can be designed or exchanged to create any desired light distribution from the same side members. The light module can comprise a tray such that the lens is sealed to the tray keeping moisture from entering the module.Type: GrantFiled: November 1, 2011Date of Patent: January 12, 2016Assignee: LSI Industries, Inc.Inventors: John D. Boyer, James G. Vanden Eynden, Larry Akers

Publication number: 20150055353Abstract: A luminaire having a housing with a column extending therefrom and a bracket secured to the column, the bracket having a body and two wings extending from opposing sides of the body, at least a portion of each wing extending in a direction at least partially away from the column. The mounting bracket allows installation of the luminaire to a structure, such as a ceiling or canopy, by inserting the luminaire column and bracket into an aperture in the structure from the underside of the structure. The aperture edge forces the wings to flex inward as the column advances through the aperture until the wings pass the aperture edge and spring outward to hold the luminaire to the structure. The mounting bracket thus facilitates quick attachment of the luminaire to the structure and allows attachment of additional mounting hardware to further secure the luminaire to the structure.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 20, 2013Publication date: February 26, 2015Applicant: LSI Industries, Inc.Inventors: Daniel Hutchens, John D. Patent number: 4264214Abstract: A gas/liquid mixer in which intermeshing gears are caused to rotate and establish mixing, by pressure of the fluids being mixed. The gears are mounted for rotation in a gear chamber and interengage in a meshing zone of the chamber. A gas is introduced into the chamber through a gas inlet which is adjacent to one end of the meshing zone. A liquid inlet enters the chamber between the gas inlet and an outlet which is positioned adjacent a second or opposite end of the mixing zone. The gears are rotated in the chamber by the introduction and expansion of the gas and liquid in the spaces between the gear teeth. Flow regulating means controls the gas/liquid ratio. The apparatus is useful, among other purposes, for mixing a soluble gas with molten hot melt adhesive, directly adjacent the nozzle of a dispenser for preparing a hot melt foam.Type: GrantFiled: June 9, 1978Date of Patent: April 28, 1981Assignee: Nordson CorporationInventors: Charles H.
