  • Patent number: 9829531
Abstract: A system includes a first galvanic isolator, a second galvanic isolator, a sensor, and a monitoring module. The first galvanic isolator includes a first electrical insulator. The second galvanic isolator is connected in series with the first galvanic isolator and includes a second electrical insulator. The sensor generates a first output signal based on an electrical characteristic of one of the first and second electrical insulators. The monitoring module, based on the first output signal, selectively generates a signal indicative of a failure of at least one of the first and second electrical insulators.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: November 28, 2017
    Assignee: Maxim Integrated Products, Inc.
Inventors: Roberto Alini, Larry Barnes, Baris Posat, Gene Svoboda

  • Publication number: 20160004222
Abstract: A link is provided for use in a watch for coupling a watch strap to a base of the watch. The link includes a body defining an arcuate seat extending generally longitudinally along the body, and first and second ears extending generally away from the body. Each of the first and second ears defines an opening, and the opening of the first ear is substantially aligned with the opening of the second ear. The link also includes a channel defined between the first and second ears for receiving an end portion of the watch strap when coupling the watch strap to the base of the watch.

  • Patent number: 5027471
Abstract: A door prop device for the purpose of maintaining a hinged door in a propped-open position against the forces of spring tension, wind, gravity, or other causes, which will effectively function without damaging either the door or any adjacent structure and which will function on doors which pivot on vertical axes, horizontal axes, or any pivot axes orientations between vertical and horizontal. The device comprises a block-shaped prop member and a retainer member attached to the prop member. The retainer member is adapted to be placed over and engage with a hinge pin of an opened door hinge whereby the prop member is caused to assume an obstructing position in the space between the separated plates of the opened hinge. When it is desired to close the door, the door prop device is simply removed from the hinge and the door may then be closed.

  • Patent number: 4255623
Abstract: An incoming pulse train is evaluated for interpulse spacing and pulse repetition rate by first shaping the pulses into a desired configuration in a dial pulse shaper (12). The shaped pulses are applied to a pulse counter and controller (14) to generate numerator and denominator signals of a divide function. The numerator and denominator signals are gated through a data selector (16) to an up counter controller (24). The up counter controller (24) gates a 2 KHz clock to a counter in a divider and display (18) during the denominator signal and during the numerator signal the counter within the divider display (18) is gated to perform the divide functions. The divider and display (18) carries out a division function of the numerator by the denominator with the quotient representing the percent interpulse interval or the pulse repetition rate depending on the mode of operation.
