    Abstract: A telescoping extension tool for use in combination with a socket wrench is disclosed herein. Embodiments of the telescoping extension tool are installed onto the socket wrench to extend the reach of the socket used in combination with the socket wrench. Because the extension tool is telescoping, the reach of the telescoping extension tool is infinitely adjustable between the shortest extension and the longest extension of the telescoping tool. Additionally, the external surfaces of certain components of embodiments of the present invention allow the use of other tools designed to grip hexagonal shapes to supply the rotation and torque necessary to loosen or tighten fasteners.
