  • Patent number: 8490120
Abstract: A system and method for dynamic, application dependency implicit, service configuration of application server environments. A dynamic and implicit mechanism can be provided using technologies such as OSGi and the Java Module System, that then reduce the need for external application server configuration. An application server so implemented can be enabled to dynamically/lazily load the required services implementations on demand, at the time an application is deployed and/or initialized at runtime, and to subsequently release any such resources consumed when they are no longer required.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: July 16, 2013

  • Patent number: 6380956
Abstract: The present invention supports drag and drop components of an emulated environment within a host environment. The look and feel of an environment's drag and drop functionality is emulated in a host environment. A drag window is created from the emulated environment's drag image. Modifier keys of the host environment are mapped to those used in the emulated environment. Windows are registered for drag and drop in the emulated environment's registered windows database. The host environment's drag and drop database is updated to identify the registered windows of the emulated environment.

  • Patent number: 6341638
Abstract: A retractable awning adapted to be moved between extended and retracted positions includes a pair of support arms and a pair of rafter arms each of which can be extended or retracted with the awning. A motor rotates a drive shaft and a roll bar to which an awning sheet is connected so that energization of the motor causes the awning to be wrapped around the roll bar when the awning is being retracted or unwrapped from the roll bar when the awning is being extended. A belt system is disposed in each support arm which causes the support arm to extend or retract depending upon the direction of rotation of the motor so that the arms are extended simultaneously with the unwrapping of the awning sheet from the roll bar or retracted simultaneously with wrapping of the awning sheet around the roll bar. A rigid or alternatively resilient brace extends between each support arm and an associated rafter arm for holding the rafter arms in an extended position as the awning reaches a fully extended position.

  • Patent number: 5767851
Abstract: The present invention supports allows an emulated environment to interface with a host environment, thereby enabling drag and drop functionality of the emulated environment to function in the host environment.
