  • Publication number: 20150278975
Abstract: A system coordinates patient transitions of care and manages a patient's care from diagnosis to solution no matter how long it takes or how many healthcare providers are involved during the continuum of care. The system brings all of the people interactions into a protected, access-controlled environment that allows a patient's entire continuum of care, inclusive of diagnostic and demographic data, documentation, forms, communication and collaboration, as well as a patient's transition of care, to be coordinated among as many healthcare providers as are needed for as long as needed. The system replaces many of the manual steps currently performed with automated tools, notifications and reminders. The system includes a telehealth module allowing for video connections among provider, patients, staff and the like.

  • Publication number: 20030205482
Abstract: A hydrogen and oxygen gas generator (100) is provided that uses electrodes (160) made of carbon graphite and disposed in a vessel (110) containing a conductive solution of water and salt (165). The carbon graphite electrodes may be made of graphite baked with a binder to form rods, and may include a conductive cladding over a portion of the rods. An electric potential is applied between the electrodes, causing a current through the saline solution that results in dissociation of water into hydrogen and oxygen, which is expelled through a gas discharge port (156) in the vessel. The generator may be used as a stand-alone combustible gas generator, or in a vehicle (90), powered by an alternator (96) driven by the vehicle engine (98), and providing hydrogen and oxygen to the engine to improve the efficiency of the engine.

  • Patent number: 4614380
Abstract: A motor driven rotary scraper assembly (10) for use on concrete floors for removing adhering residues includes a plate (12, 180) for rotary driving attachment to a motor rotatable device. There are a plurality of annularly spaced scraper units (50, 112, 182) secured to the plate. Each scraper unit (50, 112, 180) has floating blades (52, 116, 190). The scraper units (50, 112) include a support member (80, 160) having limit or pivot means (92, 130, 270) to limit upward movement of the blade (52, 116, 190).

  • Patent number: 4368711
Abstract: A water-augmented fuel and air supply system for an internal combustion engine which draws heated air into its intake manifold through two paths, one carrying the bulk of air, referred to as leaning air, drawn directly into the manifold, and the other providing a smaller stream of mixing air through a fuel and water vaporizer heated by engine exhaust. In the vaporizer, the heated mixing air flow acts upon a pool of liquid water and fuel to stimulate vaporization thereof. As engine temperature and engine exhaust temperature rise, the maximum vaporization stimulation effect of the impinging mixing air is no longer needed and is correspondingly reduced. The result is to permit cold starts and to provide a lean mixture of vaporous mixing air conducive to sustained economical engine operation, and increased power availability from the engine without incurring excessive rise in engine operating temperatures.
