  • Patent number: 8085920
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for synthetic audio placement are described herein. In different aspects, synthetic audio placement may include a plurality of inputs, each input configured to receive a signal from a caller, at least one input being a single channel input. A bridge may be included to receive the signal from the plurality of inputs and modify the signal to include synthetic audio placement of the signal based on a location of each caller within the sound field. A multi-channel output may be included to receive the modified signal from the bridge and provide the modified signal to a listener.
