    Abstract: A simple, compact, and disposable unit for transporting living cells at living-body temperature is disclosed. The transport unit may include a box enclosure with two resistive heating elements on opposite sides of a container with living cells in the container. A portable, disposable power source may be located in the box to provide power to the resistive heating elements. One or more controllers may be located in the box and used to control power to the resistive heating elements and maintain a temperature of the living cells at living-body temperatures.
