  • Publication number: 20140061075
Abstract: A golf bag having one or more adjustable features is disclosed herein. In particular, the golf bag comprises a handle rotatable around an axis perpendicular to a vertical axis extending through the body of the golf bag, and may be fixed in place via a locking mechanism so that the handle maintains a desired angle with respect to the vertical axis. The handle of the present invention preferably is rotatably affixed to a collar or upper portion of the golf bag. The golf bag also comprises an external pocket that is removably affixed to an exterior surface of the golf bag with hook and loop fasteners and other attachment mechanisms.

  • Patent number: 8376876
Abstract: A face or face insert (40) for a golf club head (20) is disclosed herein. The face (40) has an interior surface (40b) with a first thickness section (200) and a second thickness region (205). The first thickness section (200) preferably has a thickness that is at least 0.025 inch greater than the thickness of the second thickness region (205). In a most preferred embodiment, the first thickness section (200) has an X shape that is rotated around the Y axis (500) by at least 10 degrees. In another preferred embodiment, the face has a first thickness section (200), a second thickness region (205), and a central region (400) having a third thickness. The face or face insert (40) with variable thickness allows for a face or face insert (40) with less mass in a golf club head (20) that conforms to the United States Golf Association regulations.

  • Patent number: 8337328
Abstract: A hybrid wood-type golf club head (20) with a main body (22) and a minor body (24) is disclosed herein. The main body (26) has a front portion (30), a crown portion (25), a partial toe portion (27), a partial heel portion (26), a partial rear portion (28) and a partial sole portion (29). The minor body (24) preferably has a sole wall (31), a partial toe wall (33), a partial heel wall (32) and a partial rear wall (34). The minor body (24) is preferably welded to the main body (22). The minor body (24) preferably has a mass ranging from 80 grams to 130 grams. The minor body (24) is preferably from 55 weight percent to 35 weight percent of the total mass of the wood-type golf club head (20).

  • Publication number: 20120187011
Abstract: A golf bag having adjustable dividers is disclosed herein. The golf bag of the present invention allows a user to arrange the adjustable dividers to create the size, configuration, and number of golf club compartments desired by the user. The dividers of the present invention are composed of interlocking, structural material to prevent golf clubs from getting tangled within the golf bag, and are assembled into an adjustable divider cartridge comprising a base retainer that is inserted into a golf bag. Once the divider cartridge is disposed within the golf bag, top retainers are added to retain the divider cartridge and prevent it from moving around within the golf bag.
