  • Publication number: 20050072840
Abstract: A unified transport and display mechanism is particularly suited for transporting and displaying buckets and items within buckets. The items include, but are not limited to, flowers or other plant specimens. The mechanism includes a container and a lid for covering the container. The lid includes one or more perforated areas, the removal of which forms one or more corresponding apertures. Each aperture is sized and adapted for receiving an item such as a bucket in a display mode. When received, the bucket extends into the aperture at a level below a top surface of the lid, and partially extends above the lid top surface to allow visual access to the items.

  • Patent number: 5303923
Abstract: A golf putter is optimized by providing a cylindrical ball-striking face with a radius of curvature of between about 2 and about 6 inches. The ball-striking face of the preferred putter is arcuate in cross-section and has a radius of curvature of essentially 4 inches about a horizontal axis lying in a plane parallel to and spaced essentially 0.84 inches from the sole of the putter. This shape for the putting face ensures that a ball will be stroked with a desirable over-spin. The putter also retains much of a conventional flat-faced putter's immunity to small variations that a golfer may make about an ideal stroking position.

  • Patent number: 4881739
Abstract: A putter head comprising a top portion formed with a hosel for coupling the head to a shaft; a bottom portion formed with a sole for positioning the putter head in a ball-striking orientation on a putting green; and a ball-striking face located therebetween. The ball-striking face is arcuate in cross-sectional shape curved about an axis located in a horizontal plane between the top portion and the bottom portion. The radius of curvature of the ball-striking face is essentially 0.84 inches. Both the horizontal plane and the axis of the ball-striking face are located essentially 0.84 inches from the sole. The curved face extends downwardly from at least the horizontal plane.
