  • Patent number: 4439180
Abstract: A device is disclosed for holding a flowable substance and applying the flowable substance to an orifice of a body comprising a nozzle, a plunger section, a plunger projection secured to the plunger section, and a cavity, with the cavity sized and shaped to fit between the nozzle and the plunger section, wherein the nozzle is placed into the orifice and the plunger projection is pressed in order to force the flowable substance through a plurality of openings in the nozzle into the orifice.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 17, 1982
Date of Patent: March 27, 1984
    Inventor: Larry H. Kline
  • Patent number: 4421504
Abstract: A device and method are disclosed for placing an object into a body cavity, the device comprising an applicator body, lubricating apparatus, and movement apparatus, wherein the lubricating apparatus and the movement apparatus may comprise a single plunger, whereby the object is placed into the device, the device is placed into the body cavity, and the single plunger is pressed, thereby lubricating the exterior of the injector and the single plunger is pushed, thereby pushing the object through the device and into the body cavity.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 21, 1982
Date of Patent: December 20, 1983
    Inventor: Larry H. Kline
  • Patent number: 4367759
Abstract: A device is disclosed for cleaning teeth and adjacent areas comprising a shaft with a cleaning end, a flexible rest with an opening through which the shaft extends which is operative to be pressed against the teeth and adjacent areas to stabilize the position of the device, and a securing apparatus secured to the shaft and to the flexible rest.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 22, 1982
Date of Patent: January 11, 1983
    Inventor: Larry H. Kline
  • Patent number: 4365631
Abstract: A device and method are disclosed for holding a flowable substance and applying the flowable substance to an orifice of a body comprising a nozzle, a plunger section, and a void area, with the void area sized and shaped to fit between the nozzle and the plunger section, wherein the nozzle is placed into the orifice and the plunger section pressed in order to force the flowable substance through a plurality of openings in the nozzle into the orifice.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 4341211
Abstract: A device and method are disclosed for placing an object into a body cavity comprising an applicator body, a lubricating plunger securable within the applicator body, and an object plunger, which is operative to move the object through the applicator body into the body cavity.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 8, 1981
Date of Patent: July 27, 1982
    Inventor: Larry H. Kline
  • Patent number: 3996592
Abstract: Antenna having a selectively rotatably extendable sensitivity pattern provided by an array of three or more dipole antenna units, each of substantially equal mechanical length and located at the corners of a substantially regular polygon having the same number of sides as the number of units in the array and switching means having connections to each dipole unit to selectively energize at least one of said units and interpose an electrically-lengthening inductive reactance in at least two other units located, with respect to the direction in which the sensitivity is to be extended, behind and on either side of an energized unit to serve as parasitic reflectors extending the lobe of sensitivity of an energized unit in the selected direction.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 17, 1974
Date of Patent: December 7, 1976
