  • Publication number: 20230342176
Abstract: System and computer-implemented method for managing on-prem hyperconverged systems automatically detects a condition for additional resources in an on-prem hyperconverged system with a cluster of active host computers and at least one dark capacity host computer that is not part of the cluster. The resources of at least one dark capacity host computer in the on-prem hyperconverged system is used to address the condition for additional resources after the dark capacity host computer has been added to the cluster.

  • Patent number: 8944476
Abstract: A latch assembly includes a closing panel having an end with a closing panel tab extending therefrom. A clasp lever is pivotally attached to the end of closing panel and forms a space into which the closing panel tab extends. Inner peripheral sidewalls of the clasp lever forming the space allow the clasp lever to rotate around outer peripheral sidewalls of the closing panel tab when the clasp lever pivots around the end of the closing panel. An incessant force component is disposed within the space between the closing panel tab and a rear inner sidewall of the clasp lever and biases the clasp lever to a neutral position with respect to the closing panel. A force applied to an outer surface of the clasp lever against the bias causes the clasp lever to pivot around the end of the closing panel from the neutral position.

  • Patent number: 7228778
Abstract: A pneumatic recoil reduction adapter for use with a barrel and breech of an existing explosives disarmer. The adapter substantially reduces and, indeed, achieves near-total recoil reduction of recoil using venturi-venting rather than damping liquids, spring-damped shot tubes or other unwieldy mechanics. The recoil reduction adapter is formed with a central chamber to seat a cartridge and a plurality of axially extending passages leading outward from the central chamber through a corresponding plurality of radially-spaced venturi nozzles. Upon firing, exhaust gases are vented rearwardly back through the central chamber and outward through the venturi nozzles to offset and thereby reduce recoil forces.

  • Publication number: 20050155982
Abstract: A food and beverage dispenser with a dispenser lid and a dispenser body. The dispenser body has four walls and a bottom. The dispenser lid seats on the dispenser body. The dispenser lid is secured to the body by cooperation of the lid with the body. Rotation of the lid causes a seal bead on the lid to seal against a seal bead on the body. The dispenser lid is a polyethylene shell, and the seal bead on the dispenser lid is an elastomeric gasket secured to the polyethylene shell.

  • Patent number: 5011169
Abstract: A device for carrying a person and propelling a shopping cart. The device includes an easily detachable cross-bar for coupling a bicycle-like device to a shopping cart. The bicycle-like device includes a seat and pedals/sprocket assembly for propelling the shopping cart. The bicycle-like device includes dual rear wheels which enhances the stability and maneuverability of the coupled device.
